Blocks Stair

Custom-made internal staircase. The project rethinks the modular stairs dividing them into finished and jointed blocks, in order to minimize the work on site and the assembly time.
The leg loops are made of solid sheet metal, while the riser and tread are made of perforated sheet metal to reduce weight and allow light to filter through. The triangulated handrail becomes a structural reinforcement element. The final effect is a staircase with continuous volumetric and two-dimensional games in relation to natural and artificial light.
